Terms and Conditions – Verwood Pharmacy Delivery Service

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the local delivery service (“the Service”) provided by Pharmland Ltd T/A Verwood Pharmacy (“the Pharmacy”) to customers within designated local areas. By using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. Service Availability
1.1. The Pharmacy Delivery Service operates Monday to Friday only, excluding public holidays.
1.2. All deliveries are subject to driver availability and may be scheduled or rescheduled accordingly.
1.3. Delivery is available only within the local areas of Verwood, Three-Legged Cross, and Woodlands. If you are unsure whether your address is covered, please contact the Pharmacy prior to ordering.

2. Delivery Conditions
2.1. The Pharmacy cannot and does not guarantee specific delivery days or times.
2.2. Delivery is subject to receipt of prescriptions and supplier stock availability. National stock shortages may delay dispatch.
2.3. One-off deliveries are typically made on the same or next working day, subject to these conditions.

3. Subscription Plans
3.1. The Service is available as a one-off delivery or through one of four subscription options:
* Individual Monthly Subscription
* Individual Annual Subscription
* Family Monthly Subscription
* Family Annual Subscription

3.2. All subscriptions are auto-renewed until cancelled by the customer.
3.3. Subscriptions are non-refundable, including partial periods, due to the discounted rates offered in exchange for a commitment.
3.4. Individual Subscriptions are for one named customer only and are non-transferable.
3.5. Family Subscriptions apply to up to four individuals living at the same address.
3.6. Each subscription includes two deliveries per month to the subscriber's address under our Fair Usage Policy. Additional deliveries may be made in exceptional circumstances or for purchased (non-NHS) items, at the Pharmacy's discretion and in line with this Fair Usage Policy. Customers are encouraged to group orders accordingly.
3.7. Subscription plan payments are managed by our payment provider Square Up. Verwood Pharmacy does not accept liability for the actions, errors, or service availability of this third-party provider.

4. Managing Your Subscription
4.1. Customers may cancel their subscription at any time by clicking ‘Manage’ on the subscription email received from Square Up and then selecting ‘Cancel Subscription’. Cancellation will take effect from the next billing cycle, and no further charges will be made.
4.2. In the event of cancellation, The Service will continue for the remainder of the period already paid for.
4.3. If you are unable to cancel your subscription via Square Up, you may request cancellation through the Pharmacy team. A 30-day notice period applies to this cancellation method, and any further subscription charges taken during this time are non-refundable.
4.4. Customers are responsible for maintaining valid payment details on their account. Card details can be updated via the ‘Manage’ link in the subscription email received from Square Up. Pharmacy staff cannot access or update card information on your behalf. If you cannot update your subscription details for any reason, and wish to make a change, you must cancel and re-subscribe.
4.5 Failed payments due to a failure to keep card details up-to-date or any other reasons may lead to your subscription being treated as if it has been cancelled. The standard terms of cancellation will apply in this case.

5. One-Off Deliveries
5.1. One-off deliveries are charged on a per-delivery basis and are refundable only if the ordered items are unavailable and an unreasonable delay is expected, as determined at the Pharmacy's discretion.
5.2. One-off deliveries do not include any subscription benefits or allowances.

6. Delivery Attempts and Safe Spaces
6.1. Due to the sensitive nature of the products, items will not be left unattended unless a suitable safe space has been pre-arranged and agreed with the Pharmacy.
6.2. Items may only be posted through your letterbox with prior written consent from the customer. The customer accepts all liability for any items delivered in this manner.
6.3. If you are not at home, we will re-attempt delivery on a future scheduled run. After repeated failed attempts, the medication will be stored at the Pharmacy for in-person collection by the patient.

7. Limitation of Liability
7.1. The Pharmacy shall not be held liable for delays or failures in delivery due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: driver illness or unavailability, extreme weather, or supplier shortages.
7.2. The Pharmacy is not responsible for any consequences resulting from the customer’s failure to manage subscription details, update card information, or provide accurate delivery instructions.

8. Changes to Terms
8.1. The Pharmacy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be published on our website and/or communicated via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
